KSCPT held its 17th spring meeting under the theme of ‘Clinical Pharmacology of Innovative Therapeutics’ in Jeju April 26, 2024. This spring meeting curated a diversity of presentations covering various aspects of cell-gene therapies including discovery, preclinical/clinical trials, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic evaluations.
Haeyoung Suh-Kim, CEO of CELLeBRAIN and a professor at Ajou University College of Medicine, conveyed important topics such as gene delivery capability to target site, a living anti-cancer drug with tumor targeting tropism, and first-in-human investigator-initiated trials. In addition, Suh-Kim emphasized effectiveness of add-on treatment in removing residual cancer cells after debulking surgery.
